Not only is this Notting Hill Carnival weekend, it's all the bank holiday Monday that will see the release of Roots Manuva's new single 'Again and Again.' The song couldn't be a more perfect anthem for the (hopefully) sunny carnival antics. The good news is you can hear the song played live, loud and in all it's wonk-reggae, sun-drenched glory on Carnival Sunday, for Roots will be in town.
Details below! > Sunday, 24 August 2008 Tayo's Tracksuit Party: Carnival Special: Roots Manuva + Jadell & Beeny Royston + Joe Ransom + Ben Westbeech + International Nut Company + Anthony Hill + Tayo At Paradise Pub, London From 8:00pm until 3:00am Price: £10.00 on the door / £8.00 advance
Again and Again is out on Monday, and you can buy it on the following carefully crafted formats.
12" vinyl feat. Moody Boyz remix and Moody Boyz dub only, for those who like their vinyl designed for dancefloors or wobbling mum's floor.
7" vinyl feat. the radio edit and Matt Helders (Arctic Monkeys) remix, for those who like things small and beautiful.
And of course, a download single featuring all the above, the original album version and the video, which shows London as we hope it'll be this weekend.
Have fun!
